Catholic Youth Formation (CYF)
The term “Catholic Youth Formation” (CYF) has been
adopted at St.
Charles to replace the more traditionally established
“Confraternity of
Christian Doctrine” (CCD) as the title of our
religious education
program for grades C4 & C5 and grades 1—11.
“Catholic Youth Formation” more appropriately defines the focus of the religious education programs for today. The goal of CYF is to help develop educated faith-seekers, who are both aware of-and actively involved in their faith.
